Nuggets and Hashbrowns!

So it was out to KFC YAY!

SPORTS DAY!!!

Today at school we had a sporting event day. At the start of the day we were put into groups, those groups were the ones you would rotate in for each apparatus. The apparatuses my group did were:

-Rob The Nest

-Skipping

-Water Challenge

-Crafts

-Never Ending Tag

-T-Ball

-Knock The Cone

-Touch Rugby

They were all very physical and lots of fun. My sister and I were in the same group which was neat.

Taylor's Mistake Walk/Beach

Yesterday with Team Toru (3), my class team, we walked the Taylor's Mistake Walk. It was a 6km walk there and back, but with our team a bit longer. At school we walked into the buses and started heading to Taylor's Mistake, it was a steep and bumpy ride. When we got there we had some morning tea and went to our parent helper, my group had my dad as an extra. Then we made sure everyone was in their groups, and headed off. It was a nice walk to halfway with a nice calm breeze, even though we were sweaty. As usual I chatted nearly the whole way there. We were really puffed when we got to the top. Once we were up there we stopped for a drink and a biscuit. We had a group photo and started heading back. I chatted the whole way back, and that seemed to help my feet stop hurting. When we got back from the walk we sat down under a shady tree and had some lunch. It was good finally getting something in my stomach. After we had had a half an hour play we headed off to the beach, with our buckets and spades of course!  When we got there we were told that we had to get into teams of four and had a sandcastle competition. We only had 37 minutes to finish it. Our team just finished and were proud with our work. Once we had done that we went back to the car and got our bags. We then hopped onto a different bus and started heading back. I had enjoyed Taylor's Mistake and want to go back again. On the bus ride home it was another bumpy ride, but the bus driver took the longer route so we arrived at 3:10! I had had a great day at Taylor's Mistake.

Team REAL Learners End Of Year Party!!!!

At school we had a class party for the whole day. In the morning we made Christmas Crackers to pop throughout the party. Believe it or not they took longer than we thought. At morning tea all the people who were in the Cinderella X4 play got dressed into their costumes. I was the Prince so I had to dress very handsome, even though I dressed like a gangster. At the end of interval the play started, everyone was excited. It started and I stumbled in my first part because I lost my page! This play was so fun and finished in about 30 minutes. Then some girls came and performed a dance routine, they looked spectacular. Then everyone who was in the play had to get changed back into their school uniforms. Then everyone went back to their home room. In our home rooms we handed out certificates with Tothills Maze passes, I got a certificate and a pass too! I can't wait to use it! Then we all came back into the meeting space and were told how to play Secret Santa. After that we went back into our home rooms and played Secret Santa. I got a toy minion, it is awesome. After that we went into Room 37 to have some party food, it was so yummy, everyone definitely filled up. As we had the party food it ran into lunchtime. After lunchtime we were back into our normal routine for a Tuesday. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that this was the best school party EVER! Sorry for no photos.

Meeting Simon Barnett
